Fantasy Genius 2024 Updates

Speed improvements, Trade Rater, and Sleeper integration!

This offseason, we’ve worked hard on improving the Fantasy Genius experience, making it faster, smarter, and packed with new features designed to help you have fun with your league (and maybe snag a couple extra wins!). Here’s what’s new:

🏎️💨 Improved Speed & Performance

Much like DJ Khaled, we have upgraded our servers from last year. Whether you're checking league stats, syncing your rosters, or diving deep into advanced analytics, everything should work smoother. I personally called Bill Gates and gave him the ok to add the most powerful servers to handle this.

🤝 Introducing Trade Rater

If you’re like me, you’re bad at fantasy football and feel lost when trades start flying around. So this offseason, I built Trade Rater, your new go-to feature for evaluating trades like a pro. With real-time community voting and insights, you can crowdsource opinions and get an edge before accepting or sending a trade.  I made this because I frequently want to "gut check" my trades with real players and while some of the trade calculators out there are really solid, I always like to get a real people's opinions.

There are a few Reddit forums that aim to do this but lack a simple interface to see which way public opinion is swaying on the trade itself.

Perhaps naiively, I am allowing people to comment on trades as well. This is like plugging Tee Higgins into your 2023 lineup — you know in your heart it’s a mistake but something compels you to do it anyways.

 🔄 Sleeper MINI Integration

We’re thrilled to announce our new integration with Sleeper MINI, letting you access FG directly from the Sleeper app! See some basic weekly reports using the MINI tab at the bottom right of the Sleeper mobile app. This is truly an insane development — those of you that were around in the Commissioner Genius (RIP) days will surely agree. Huge shoutout to the developers from Sleeper who are an amazing group to work with.

I’m super excited about all of these changes that are already live and we have a ton more features on deck for the rest of the year. Let us know if there’s a feature, visualization, or tool you would like to see on the app — we’ll do our best to build the most requested stuff!
